We are pleased that Dr. Susan Taylor will join us once again. Before her position at Simpsonwood, Dr. Taylor served as a United Methodist Pastor in Buford, Demorest, Duluth, and Gainesville, Georgia. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii, an MBA from the University of West Florida, a Doctorate from UGA, and a Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University! That alone is an impressive resume but Dr. Taylor also is a wife and a mother to 5 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The scripture passage will be Galatians 2:11-21, and the sermon title is, “What God Has Done and What People Do.”

The BLOSOMS group will be preparing and serving a special breakfast this Sunday in celebration of Father’s Day coming up next weekend. Please join us for community fellowship and worship.

A special thank you to all who volunteered their time and expertise to the Auto Show that was held at the Chapel last Saturday, June 5. It was a great success.

As a reminder, there are friends and neighbors in the City of Berkeley Lake that are suffering hardship or illness. During the Chapel service, prayer requests are shared. Please let us know if you or someone you love should be included. Anyone on the Chapel Board can be contacted or e-mail can be sent to Coracita@aol.com.

Monthly services are usually on the second Sunday, but please be sure to check our calendar just in case!

The officers and board members of the Lake Berkeley Chapel extend an invitation to our Berkeley Lake neighbors to join us in worship. Services are offered 8:30 am the second Sunday of each month. Coffee is ready by 8:15 am and breakfast is offered immediately following the service at approximately 9:15 am.
